About Cheryl Shea

Cheryl Shea, M.Div., RPC

Cheryl Shea’s vision is to empower you to be free and whole personally and relationally. With over fifteen years counselling, teaching and leadership experience Cheryl uses best counselling practices to help you attain you personal goals and the life you desire. Her current counselling practice addresses issues from a traditional psychological perspective or from an integrated christian faith/psychology perspective depending on your preference.

In addition to private practice she works with various Employee Assistance programs, and is part of the psychological counselling team with “Lives In Transition”, a employment readiness program for women leaving abusive relationships.  In 1995 she founded Mars Hill Centre, an Edmonton outreach centre offering support and recovery groups. 

Cheryl has a Master of Divinity degree from Taylor Seminary, Edmonton and Bachelor of Science from the University of Winnipeg. She is a Registered Professional Counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association and serves as the CPCA Alberta Chapter President. 

Cheryl Shea has written various articles, booklets and the book “Soul Surgeon” on the Christian healing journey. (You can find these under “Resources” on this webpage.)She is a seminar and conference speaker as well. And she readily acknowledges she is an imperfect lover of God, dogs and others.
