If you missed the June workshop and are interested in a workshop October 2014 please contact me.
Living with Depression, Anxiety or Bipolar disorder (DAB) is a challenge. But with some understanding, tools and hope you can begin to move beyond survival. If you live with mild or moderate DAB you can thrive! Together we will examine the physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of DAB. (I present from a christian worldview but the tools and insights are helpful to anyone.)
Specific topics we will cover:
What is the difference between depression, disappointment and grief?
When is medication helpful?
Specific techniques to help with unhelpful thinking patterns.
Where is God when I feel depressed?
How good self-care improves our mental health.
Registration is limited to the first 25 paid participants.
Paid registration includes a $25 discount on one counselling session with Cheryl Shea.
